Salmond College Dining Hall – TV Wall Installation
Client Need:
Salmond College sought a solution to enhance their Dining Hall with a TV wall that could display important information for students and also serve as a source of entertainment.
Our Solution:
Aotea installed a TV wall comprising four 55″ Samsung TVs mounted at an optimal height to ensure visibility throughout the large hall. The setup was integrated with a video matrix, connecting a Sky decoder, Freeview decoder, and an additional TV in the hall. HDMI outlets were also installed to facilitate laptop presentations.
To ensure a seamless audio-visual experience, the TV wall was linked to the hall’s audio system. Sound was distributed evenly via six JBL speakers, creating an immersive environment suitable for both informational and entertainment purposes.
Additionally, we had the opportunity to upgrade the projector and Control4 touchscreen in Salmond College’s cinema room, ensuring a modernized and user-friendly system for enhanced viewing and control capabilities.
